Welcome to my world. I know it might be a tad overwhelming. I apologize. This is just the way my brain works. Or at least it’s the way my brain works when medicated.  I have been living with chronic fatigue and pain for over ten years. About four years ago I began to write. Writing proved to be very therapeutic. About six years ago I began collecting vintage fabric, ribbon, buttons and brooches. I designed and made handbags in every shape and style I could think of. This proved to be very therapeutic as well.  About twenty years ago, I started therapy. Therapy was at times therapeutic and other times, not so much. About thirty years ago I began to shop. Retail therapy has been very effective on the one hand and very expensive on the other.

Now I have  created this blog. It combines all therapies into one slightly confusing package called ill. humored.

In this blog you will find, in no particular order, humor (mostly at my own expense), pain management tips, my latest crafty creations, a party planning guide, outdated movie review(s) and much more. So I hope you’ll have a look around and leave a comment if you’re so inclined. I love to hear from you, especially if you are nice, or funny, or in pain, or desperate.

Thanks again for visiting,

Yours very truly,

Sarah

  1. Gee…As I read what I just posted, it sounds so MEAN. Yikes. I was referring to an earlier entry you made that said you hadn’t been posting much because you had a life. Having a life is a good thing…until your life takes over your whole life. hehe

  2. Hi,

I really enjoyed reading through your blog posts on Sarahsavasky.wordpress.com. I got a real sense of your enthusiasm and passion in each post.I write Herfitnessjournal.com – a blog about diet, medicine, a dash of science, and my personal exercise habits. If you’re interested I would love to have you on as a guest blogger. Just shoot me quick a e-mail and we chat about it. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,
